Roberto Clemente is one of my favorite ballplayers of all-time and I admired how he lived his life. It was very cool just being able to walk over it.

In good repair, a beautiful span. Easy to walk across. Connects to a busy area with the 2 incline rides and a boardwalk area.

it's a great bridge. it gets you over the river. i've driven it and walked it countless times. it's always done as promised, getting me back and forth between downtown and the north shore without having to swim. it's also a great concert venue on...More

We crossed the bridge coming to and from the baseball/football stadium complex area. The padlocks with the various couples names was interesting. There appeared to be far more of these on the side closest to the stadiums (lane going into the city). The bridge puts...More

We either walk the bridge before the games, or go for a stroll after. Its amazing to see PNC from that side. We usually come from the north so don't get on that side of the river. You have to see it all lit up...More

Walked it and the surrounding area to get away from the Convention Center for a bit. Saw several people walking it to get to the Stadiums across the way. Beautiful during the day and night.

On game day this is the gateway to PNC park. Only pedestrians on game day and it's alive with fans and families outside the park with events, activities restaurants etc.

Best part about this bridge is during game days they close the bridge for pedestrians only. Great place for photos as well!

Not too much to say except how can you not love looking at the beauty of this bridge. I am bridge fanatic and take pics of bridges everywhere I go. I love this bridge.

This is just a bridge that is painted yellow - nothing very spectacular about it. You could probably find similar views and sights from this bridge in any major city in the world.

Our time is limited, but our hearts big on walking bridges! How long does it take to walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge? Also, is there a place to park the car, in order to walk over and back? Thanks in advance!

You can walk across the bridge in twenty or less minutes. As far as parking, to my knowledge street parking is your best bet. I would park on the PNC Park side, as there is more parking available than on the other side.

Is this bridge situated at 6TH St on which also is located Heinz Hall For the Performing Arts at 6TH and Penn? Is there a closer parking garage than the one at 6th and Penn? Will that garage likely have vacancy for 8/21/15 7PM Fri eve baseball game?

Is the RC/6TH St Bridge an extension of 6TH St on which sits Heinz Hall For The Performing Arts? Is there a parking garage nearer to the RC Bridge than the parking garage at 6TH & PENN? Thanks, MH

Yes, this is the bridge on 6th street down from Heinz Hall. There is a garage on 6th closer to the bridge.
