Great college

Went to school there several years ago and recently revisited. Large campus with law and medical schools. Also a world class medical center.

Loved the tour of the University, particularly the Cathedral of Learning and the dormitories. Great school!

we just walk around, but I think it it would be a nice place. As we visited there in weekday on 31st Aug, the cathedral of learning is no longer open to public (unlike in summer holiday) unless you come in weekends, but we enter the Heinz Memorial chapel, both outside and inside looks good.

This is only the second time I've been to Pittsburgh. The first time was on a college tour in 2015. Both times we found Pittsburgh and the University to be very welcoming. Obviously, my daughter liked the school and the city well enough to choose to attend this university above the many others we visited across the country. The campus... More

I was very impressed the the University when I went with my daughter for a campus tour and info session. It was pouring rain, but the tours and info sessions were well organized. Pitt ponchos were provided to help keep you dry.

I hadn't been back to Pitt in 20 years . As alums, my wife and I were trying to convince our sons to attend. We failed. The went to Cornell and Miami respectively. Both of those have lovely campuses too but Pitt is really something special. Set in the "Oakland Cultural Center' between Forbes and Fifth Avenues (with the huge... More

What an amazing campus. It is filled with diversity! Diverse restaurants, diverse activities and diverse sights. We were there for 4 days and did not finish everything on our to do list. Oh well, that means we just have to come back again soon. Do not miss the Cathedral of Learning it is the highlight of the campus.

While in Pittsburgh it is worth taking some time to drive and walk thru the University of Pittsburgh. It is only 20 minutes from the City but worth taking time to visit

This was my daughters first choice over many other universities....and now I see why. I was very impressed with the campus and surrounding business district. The campus is centered around the Cathedral of Learning...a gigantic and historic art deco gothic skyscraper...a great place to film the next Harry Potter sequel. Across the street from the Cathedral is the Carnegie Mellon... More

Campus seemed really nice !! I like visiting other universities campus' and rarely do I see one as nice as mine (Iowa State). This one gets close !! The library was meh, and all the alleys were kind of gross and sketchy looking ... but otherwise it was beautiful !! The Cathedral of science, the memorial, and the other Cathedral... More
