This was one of the" must stop and visit" while on vacation in Pittsburgh. WOW! I didn't get to visit all of the places that I wanted to while on campus, but the Cathedral of Learning was AMAZING. Breathtaking actually. I just stood in the hallways in awe of the architecture and construction. What a gem.

Our daughter will soon graduate and her experience at Pitt has far exceeded our expectations. We knew it was just the right academic experience for her, and she likes the city, but we didn't know she'd find such an extensive list of extracurricular activities also. Club sports, mentoring students, volunteering, working at one of the hospitals, research, downtown and southside,... More

I recently returned from some academic meetings on campus, and aside from the Cathedral of Learning (which is incredible) there isn't really much to recommend about campus, at least in the winter. It seemed like a typical urban university.

My daughter and I visited Pitt to look at it and Carnegie Mellon for graduate (PhD) schools. She wanted to get an idea of the location before applying. We also attended the Panthers/UVA basketball game. We loved the immediate area and the campus. We felt very safe walking around in the evening and returning to our hotel rather late after... More

Great opportunity to see and learn about the many cultures that have made Pittsburgh their home. Amazing architecture that make you feel like you are in a scene from a Harry Potter movie. Fun & interesting for all ages.

Just finished my first semester here and I absolutely love it. I love being in a city but also having a campus feel. The people are great. The professors are great. The area is great. Loving it so far.

We were there on Thnaksgivng Day and nothing was open, but it was well worth a walk around campus, which is really beautiful. The Cathedral of Learning and Heinz Chapel are stunning.

If you're in Pittsburgh, it is well worth to visit the University of Pittsburgh. It is shaped in the gothic style and looks like a cathedral inside. Moreover, if you go inside and look at the computerized guide of the university, you will see the theme-based classrooms that are available in the university. This is an attraction that is not...
