I went through the entire aviary in less than 30 minutes. I didn't see the sloth either. Maybe there are fewer exhibits in November, but I was hoping to see a bit more than I did. The staff was friendly though.

If birds frighten you stay home, but if you enjoy the beauty of them and their song this is the place for you. There are several different habitat areas such as Wet Lands and Tropical Forest plus others. Good special programs but they are for...More

I had some time to kill and found this place to spend a few hours. As I am an avid bird lover I was exceptionally happy with all of the time I could spend with the birds (free roaming might I add). They were doing...More

This is a must to see if you like birds. The displays are wonderfully natural and the photography is good. Being a photograper, this was the highlight of our trip. There were rare species and some behind glass which lent to great photography. One exhibit...More

I am NOT a fan of 🦅, but it was a very interesting time learning and seeing how they act, where they come from and if they are in danger. Definitely worth the trip and this could be a very nice family day out in...More

Great displays. The display of penguins was particularly enjoyable for us. There's indoor, outdoor, and underwater viewing. Crawl through a tunnel like entrance and get a different perspective of the many penguins swimming, waddling, and sleeping in their enclosure. Many other birds in different environments....More

Nestled in the north side of the city, the aviary has much to offer. It’s the only one that’s a national attraction. New bird exhibits, open air exhibits and an outdoor attraction area are great. Only downfall is limited parking

This aviary is probably kind of typical. They have penguins in a tank swimming around and you can interact with them if you pay an extra fee. You can also feed a group of small birds for an extra fee as well. The Aviary has...More

We spent about 2.5hrs here with our two young children. It's not a huge facility but they have a nice variety of exhibits- from the grasslands filled with tiny colorful birds, to the wetlands with flamingos, spoonbills and pelicans, to the penguin cove, there's almost...More

Very interesting. Saw birds I didn't even think existed before this trip. One of the better aviaries I've been to. Can feed lorikeets from Australia. Very cute and fun!
