Wonderful volunteers help you find your way. $5 parking, entry fee based on agree, extras for$5. We went through twice and found most of the birds in each area. We did Soar!, Flite and lorikeet feeding. By buying three the lorikeet feeding was basically free....More

4 of us visited here on a Tuesday afternoon. Saw "Soar' and "Amazon" shows. Soar was on the rooftop with many birds of prey in free flight. Soaring right over the top of your heads. Very well done and a must see demonstration. Amazing Amazon...More

We visited the aviary with our grandchildren, ages 3 and 1.5. They had a great experience as they got to feed several different types of birds and had butterflies landing on their fingers. The park staff was very friendly and informative, taking time to answer...More

Not much to see, smelly and run down. Can't say there was much to see or if it was worth the price of admission.

A bit expensive, with extra charges to interact with the birds and penguins. It is still wortth visiting, although on the small side. The Aviary is located on the North Side, a area worth exploring to see the oldl townhouses being restored and changed into...More

Though it has the word "National" in its name, it's not a big place. You can see maybe 60% paying the $15 admission, there are several activities and shows that you have to pay an additional $2 -$5 to see. AND a large section, the...More

I thought it was a bit expensive, especially for a big family, but always worth it. Exhibits change frequently which is nice. Def one of our favorite stops when we are in Pittsburgh

A nice little aviary however it was deff on the smaller side. Would love the exhibits to be larger and allow more room to walk around and enjoy nature. Like how a lot of the rooms were interactive. Also enjoy being able to feed the...More

It was very enjoyable to be inside some of the habitats. Staff was super friendly. We feed the Lorikeets and that was very fun for only $3. If the birds poop on you get a button. The aviary was a little small and some was...More

I think the price was a little much, but The bird's were pretty cool. My favorite was the penguin. They were pretty comical and attention seeking. The baby sloth was cute, but you couldn't see it very well. It was sleeping in its enclosure and...More

I have taken a large group through and you could do all of the exhibits in 2 hours. But you could stay longer if you take in one of the bird shows.

We had the owl encounter at my son's wedding. The trainer brought the owl from table to table during dinner. I did not see anyone touch it, just the trainer holding the owl and photos taken with it.
