this is less attractive then the Duquesne incline, the view there is not as good as the one you see in the observation deck of D. incline. we just go to the upper station, to take a look and take some photo of the view.

Another must do in Pittsburg, view is wonderful even at night. Be forewarned these are not climate controlled cars. Check out the historic pictures at the top building, on your way down look for the old track supports from the other inclines that are now...More

We parked on Grandview avenue, about 6 blocks away, and walked down to the incline. We paid for 2 hours of parking, which seemed just about right. There was a couple overview areas on the way there as well. As for the incline itself, I...More

Best way to get a panoramic view of the Three Rivers and downtown Pittsburgh. The ride up and the observation deck both offer stunning overlooks. Parking is easy at Station Square and then it's a short walk to the incline. Seniors ride free'

We came here by accident and took the ride up the hill anyway. At the top is a turnstile and outside there are some great city views. I learned that this railway was 6 years older than the famous Dueqesune (I know that I misspelled...More

We rode this on a very very hot & humid day. Not a good idea. The cars have no a/c or fans and the heat was terrible. It made the relatively short ride unpleasant. It is a nice thing to do, but better on a...More

There is ample parking at Station Square at the bottom of the Monongahela Incline. There is also street-side parking on Grandview Avenue (Mt. Washington) at the top of the incline. All parking in Pittsburgh is "pricey".
