If you have the chance, take this ride. Not many places have an incline and the one in Pittsburgh is perhaps the most famous. Works used to ride the incline to and from work, but now it is mainly a tourist attraction and offers a...More

This incline was right by the Ducky Tours, walking distance, so we ventured up. Nice photo opportunities & a few shops up top. Not too bad for the price, $3.50 RT, seniors are free. Something different to do.

This ride on he south shore up to Mount Washington is one with a view, even as you ascend or descend. The Monongahela River stretches out in front of you and beyond that is the Pittsburgh sky line and the bridges. This incline is across...More

We saw this and decided to spent $3.50 to ride up Mt. Washington to get the view. Worth it. Great observations deck and super spot to see downtown from above.

A fun bit of history. It's nice we can experience it and it is still operational after all these years.

Took a break from meetings on a cloudless day. Quick ride up the hill to catch some history and fantastic views of the city. Also walked around while on top to check out shops, pubs, and a restaurant. HIGHLY recommended.

Only 2 Inclines left in Pitt. The Mon and the Duquesne. The Mon is the older one. Take it at night the view is breathtaking! A must see when in Pitt!

If you are planning on using the subways or busses, you can buy a day pass at the machine, also. It was $7 last time I went and you can ride the inclines and busses and subways all you want that day. You will love the... More
