The view from Mount Washington was amazing. You can see the entire city with views of Heinz Field. The ride on the incline railway was a great experience and was very reasonably priced.

This incline was right by the Ducky Tours, walking distance, so we ventured up. Nice photo opportunities & a few shops up top. Not too bad for the price, $3.50 RT, seniors are free. Something different to do.

We saw this and decided to spent $3.50 to ride up Mt. Washington to get the view. Worth it. Great observations deck and super spot to see downtown from above.

Although it's both a tourist destination and a commuter transport, there's no escaping the charm of the oldest running funicular in Pittsburgh. Bring cash for the fare (less than $3/person); you can also use a transit day pass if you're coming over by trolley from...More

A fun bit of history. It's nice we can experience it and it is still operational after all these years.

Took a break from meetings on a cloudless day. Quick ride up the hill to catch some history and fantastic views of the city. Also walked around while on top to check out shops, pubs, and a restaurant. HIGHLY recommended.

If you are planning on using the subways or busses, you can buy a day pass at the machine, also. It was $7 last time I went and you can ride the inclines and busses and subways all you want that day. You will love the... More
