Visited here when we arrived in Pittsburgh, it was night time and the views were really beautiful. Enjoyed the ride down, walked around at the bottom. Not a lot to do at night but it was fun.

Fun to ride up. A little hot in the stations and waited a bit, but the views were fabulous once you arrive at the top and the Mount Washington area is cute with many nice looking restaurants and bars.

We decided to experience the Monongahela Incline and we glad we did. The lines were short (we were lucky) and the ride was interesting, particularly considering the history of the incline. The views from the top (Mount Washington) are wonderful on a clear day. There are...More

The Monongahela Incline is a great experience for historical reasons and simply due to the possibilty of limited parking at the top. The wait was lengthy when I went, and inside the waiting area was hot, especially with a crowd of people waiting inside. The...More

This was a much better experience than the Duquesne incline. A trip back to yesteryear with stunning views of the city below. A must do at night to see the lights and bridges!!!

You can't visit Pittsburgh and not experience the incline. It gives you some of the best views of the city! The line was really long and the ticketing system wasn't clearly explained, but those were minor. The cars were hot & humid, it would've been...More

Awesome unique to do after having lunch on a beautiful late spring day. Took a round trip ride ...the cars are not cooled so I imagine on a hot day it could be stuffy.

Definitely a unique experience, and you can squeeze this activity without needing a lot of time. Or, like we did, you can also grab a bite to eat and spend a little more time up top as well. The view of downtown and the rivers...More

There is ample parking at Station Square at the bottom of the Monongahela Incline. There is also street-side parking on Grandview Avenue (Mt. Washington) at the top of the incline. All parking in Pittsburgh is "pricey".

Not sure about that. We bought tickets at the office. If you did not know, there is a time limit on how long those tickets are good for. Only good for that day a so many hours for that day. The view from the top is great... More
