Have never been on the incline until this past weekend. Can't believe it took 30+ years of visiting to do this. An amazing piece of history!!

Went up to take pictures of downtown Pittsburgh. It’s a great view of the city. There is an observation deck, but no place to sit, no bathrooms so go before you leave.

First, this is not a "Mount". It's an elevated shore of the city. The best way to enjoy the view of the city would be to go uphill via the Monongahela Incline and walk your way toward Duquesne incline at the top. Along the walk,...More

Great views of the city. Worth the trip. Went early so restaurants were not opened yet. Took the incline to the top.

This is a great place to get good views of the city. You can see pretty far down river. The kids loved using the viewing telescopes scattered around.

Wow what a view! Great views of the entire city of Pittsburgh. Went up the incline to the top. Lots of good places to eat at the top and nice shops. Good vantage point to get some great photos!

Even if you only have a few minutes, you should ride the incline to Mt Washington and take in the view of downtown. Even on rainy night we were impressed with the view.

We took the Monongehela Incline up and walked aways to spectacular outlook point of the Pittsburgh skyline. The fountain were the rivers meet was not working (cold-n-snowy) but on a sunny day I imagine that spot combined with looking out at the "yellow" bridges that...More

We made the drive up Mount Washington to enjoy the view of Pittsburgh. While the day was cold the view was clear and gave us a great opportunity to take a lot of photos. Our vantage point was from the Duquesne Heights neighborhood. There was...More
