Had a wonderful day at the Carnegie, 57th international exhibition was fantastic! Monday is a good day to go - no crowds. I would recommend ‘borrowing’ an exhibition guide which is essential- as there are no explanations. They’ll try and sell you one and mention...More

I love the Carnegie. All of it. My kids grew up wandering the halls of the museums. I would arm them with crayons and paper, pack up a lunch, and head into town to explore. They would sit and draw their favorite paintings, sculptures and...More

Admission is to the Art museum and the Museum of Natural History. You can easily spend the day here. Parking is very convenient and cheap. The on site restaurant/cafe had a very good lunch. The art is spectacular.

Thank you for visiting! We're so glad you enjoyed it.

Really interesting pieces they have. It may be small but you can spend hours there. If you go to the Natural History Museum and didn’t think of making a stop here I would think twice.

There is a huge room with casts of statues. Very interesting and in one place you can see artwork from all over the world. The painting collection is broad and interesting. Very well laid out. We spent a day there. There is lots to see.

I spent several hours looking at the art and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I especially liked the European and American Art ca. 1820-1860.
