So many things to see. Reminds me of the Smithsonian in DC. You can easily spend the entire day here and I encourage you to do so.

Finally saw the world-renowned Dinosaur Hall. Also of great interest is the Hall of African Wildlife complete with stunning dioramas and jungle creatures. Loved the on-site PaleoLab where archeologists work daily. A great day at the museum!

This museum is absolutely awesome. Figure to spend a couple hours here. It's good for all ages. Just make sure you don't take any large backpacks in there. They would want you to keep them at the front desk. That's only so your backpack doesn't bump into anything

I have been a member of the museum for several years and it only gets better every year. The exhibits are second to none and there are numerous attractions and activities for all ages. The name is a bit misleading, as not only is there a natural history museum, but Carnegie Museum of Art is co-located as is the Carnegie... More

Took my daughter to Carnegie science museum while waiting for the fireworks at the river. The environment, staff, and exhibits were beyond any expectations. My daughter had an absolute blast and was learning while interacting with hands on exhibits

It is one of the best natural history museums anywhere. Children will have a wonderful time as it has one of the best dinosaur exhibits. Great for a family visit, quite simply, and admission is also accepted to the adjacent Museum of Art. Terrific gift shops, and eating options, make this a must-see destination for tourists and locals alike.

Great museum for all ages to experience. Awesome dinosaur and gem exhibits. Don't miss this museum if you are in Pittsburgh. The museum is located in Oakland, right outside Pittsburgh, next to the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh and around the corner from Phipps Conservatory.
