Great view of the city. Fun history exhibits at the top. Better to start at the top because parking below is expensive. Only downside was very strict ticket attendant who insisted on seeing multiple forms of ID for the 2 senior citizens with us.

The view of Three Rivers from the Duquesne Incline is quite nice. Once atop the ridge, enjoy the shops and eateries. The ride down provides a great view of Heinz Field, perfect for a Steelers fan to snap as many pics as s/he desires!

Took the incline to get to a restaurant. If your in town for the sight, you have to ride the incline

Very inexpensive ride. It has a really cool view. The kids loved it. It is used as transportation for people who live in the area.

The incline is a tourist attraction worth doing to get a great view of Pittsburgh and is easy to reach from downtown. Some upscale restaurants at the top as well.

I've loved this incline since I was a kid. Unfortunately, it looks old and worn down, and its not the usual touristy thing to do. But if you have a few days in Pitt. and you want to see some really great old photos of...More

This incline is located just past the Triangle Park area of the center of downtown. Great views and picture ops here from the top. Parking at the bottom is in a lot across Carson st. Use the footbridge. PA seniors go free.

The train only takes cash, so plan for it. The parking was at the base of the incline and convenient. The incline is short ride to the top and provides great views of the 3 rivers.

Great view of Pittsburgh. The ride was very reasonable and exciting. Nothing we’ve ever done. A must do if you’re in Pittsburgh. Mount Washing is close and you get an amazing view.

The Monongehela Incline is close to Station Square--also great. Goes to an outdoor viewing platform. The Duquesne Incline has a parking lot at the bottom on West Carson St.

We parked in the shopping center parking lot. It was very convenient. I don't remember that the parking cost very much. Hope that helps.

It's mostly residential at the top, and my recollection is that parking might be limited. Park in the lot at the bottom, ride up, exit the station and turn to your right. Walk about a quarter mile and there is a phenomenal... More
