we rented a cabin for a couple of nights and hiked by the lake and enjoyed the beauty of this park. I am impressed with the PA state park system. the modern cabins are a great value, clean and nice. Only about 50$ a night....More

This state park is about 30 minutes from where we live. It is a great local park. The area is very clean. There are camping areas - nice with showers and restrooms. I have never camped overnight there but have visited friends for "day camping"....More

They have a lot of spots that are mostly wooded. The lake and beach area are really nice. My only complaint would be with so many spots, it can seem crowded.

If you look in the dumpster at the end of the weekend, you'll see bags of beer cans. I have heard of people getting in trouble but if you put it in something like an insulated coffee mug you should be fine.
