If you're looking to drive for hours upon endless hours to go see a closed up coal mine that you can't get into with absolutely no notice from the operators, this is the place for you!

I've visited before so I have an inkling what it looks like when it's open. The entrance sign is gone and the gate is locked. Unless something is posted by the Mine operator, I wouldn't drive out there.

Interesting history of a coal miner's life. Tour of the coal mine was interesting. It's unimaginable how the miner's were able to work in such low ceilings, unable to stand.

Nice place to visit with the grand kids! The grandson asked many questions--the guide did not answer correctly on just one question.
