I have bicycled on the Justus trail many times before. Even tho I live in Oil City, I would drive to Franklin and trek from there towards Kennerdell. Just past the Belmar Bridge, there is a pull off to the right and and shaded. One...More

This is a beautiful trail. Easy access in Franklin or Oil City. Paved the whole way with very interesting historical markers. Connects to the Allegheny River Trail which is equally beautiful. I highly recommend this trail. Drive up often from Pittsburgh just to do this...More

I love to walk here it's so pretty and right a long the water here in oil city. Many animals such as rabbits, birds, deer, chipmunks and squirrels. I would definitely encourage anyone to visit this place.

Easy to find parking in Franklin, and this rail trail also connects with the Allegany River trail and the Sandy Creek trail... Lots of places to take a break, portable restrooms here and there, excellent scenery.. Justus trail is about 6 mi one way.

Love this trail! It is well kept and a great, relaxing bicycle ride from Franklin to Oil City or Oil City to Franklin for a day trip to enjoy the food and History in either town. Lots of history markers along the way. Highly Recommended.
