At both Cucumber Falls and the Main Falls, the sound of rushing water is so soothing. Don't rush your time here - talk a walk across the railroad bridge (now a pedestrian/bike path) and step into the woods on the far side of the Yough. So peaceful! There are plenty of good places to eat in the little Village, and... More

We spent a weekend camping in the state park which was both affordable and beautiful. During the day, we enjoyed cucumber falls, the natural water slide, the beautiful downtown shops and white water rafting with Wilderness Voyagers (highly recommend). The trails were easy to hike with breathtaking views. Well worth the trip! We will return.

Cucumber Falls, natural water slide. Lovely campground and workers. Nice place to keep cool, just wished I lived closer! Spent the night there and had a good time.

Great place to take the kids for biking/hiking. Water is still chilly for swimming but not bad for a quick wading experience. Beautiful trails and Cucumber Falls is very pretty and serene.

The Visitor's Center is so new (1 1/2 years) that it doesn't appear on many town or GAP trail maps. However, it is not to be missed -- a modern "green" building with great exhibits and an outstanding view of Ohiopyle Falls.

After visiting Fallingwater, I decided to head down the road a few miles and visit Ohiopyle State Park. It is a neat place known for its rapid excursions. The park is beautiful and well-attended. I am not a fan of all the touristy type places which sell an assortment of trinkets because I am used to state parks that do... More

We went as couples for the intent of rafting and filling in our days with hiking and biking. It was definitely one of the most beautiful trips I have been on. There is so much to do and not enough time. Defiantly plan out your trips before hand rather than once you get there.

Definitely one of my favorite places to spend time with the family. From hiking and biking on the trail when they were young, to rafting the Upper Yough now, I never tire of Ohiopyle. The town is beautiful, the scenery is majestic, the campground is meticulous. Any skill or thrill level will find themselves glad they went.

Beautiful park! Stayed and the state park campground memorial day weekend while hiking and paddling. Great weather, tons to see and do. Recommend hiking the great gorge trail and seeing cucumber falls. Camp ground was full but nice not overly crowded.

I loved this park. Excellent hiking (including not too rigorous hiking) where you get to hike to waterfalls. I was there for a holiday weekend, but it wasn't too crowded. If you like camping, the park's campground was clean and accessible. The water spigots are broken though so bring your own drinking water.
