Fun place to see Alpacas and purchase items made of their wool. Check to see if they are open. They usually offer special holiday hours.

I have always been fond of alpacas so my husband and I made plans to go visit Eastland during their annual open house in the fall. My expectations were just blown away. It was such a lovely way to spend the day, just walking and frolicking with the alpacas. They are just the sweetest creatures and, I was so happy... More

Kevin and Sue Zurin are a wealth of knowledge about alpacas. They know the names of all of their alpacas (probably over 100), and the animals seem to be very well cared for (and incredibly cute and well mannered). The selection of sweaters, scarves, yarn, gloves, hats, rugs, and socks in the gift shop is extensive and fairly priced.

We had company visit from Brooklyn. They had a toddler so we decided to visit the Alpaca Farm. It was packed with people as it was an open house day. It was a great little treat and we all enjoyed it.

In spite of a sleepless night at our hotel, we perked up quite a bit during and after our visit to Eastland Alpacas. First, let me share that this is a family owned farm in the Mount Joy community, and we are not from the area. We tried to pre-arrange an individual tour, and there was a little miscommunication so... More

What a fun place to visit with children! I was amazed at the many fun activities for the children at Eastland Alpaca at the annual open house. It is 2 weekends in the fall - for exact dates you need to visit their website. Besides the friendly alpacas there were barrel train rides, hay rides, alpaca information sessions, and a... More

I emailed Sue to arrange a tour for the two of us; she responded very quickly. The tour is about an hour. We entered various pens and the pasture to interact with the alpacas--there were four new babies and almost a hundred older alpacas, all with interesting faces and different personalities. We were able to hand-feed them and take lots... More

Sue, the owner, is very knowledgeable and will take time with you as you watch and can even interact with the alpacas up close and personal. Then visit her shop for wonderful alpaca goods as well as yarn! Do not miss! Call ahead to arrange the tour.
