We took one of the special rides in which Santa and Mrs. Claus would appear and visit with and give a small gift to each child on the train. The gifts appeared to be labeled by age and gender and were gift-wrapped. I didn't see any children open their gifts so I can't give an idea of what was gifted.... More

A nice relaxing ride on a cool autumn day. Good information on local history but conductor shouldn't try to talk over whistle.

This was a delightfully surprising train trip! There was just the right amount of information and entertainment! The restored passengers cars were pretty. The views were scenic with a cool stop over the water! Higly recommended for a relaxing afternoon'. They have some great sounding trips coming up sson for Christmas which sound like fun for the kids!

While there isn't an awful lot to see, it is a delightful little train ride. Takes about 30 minutes each way. Sadly, because of storm damage a few years ago, the train no long crosses over Rt. 322 into Hummelstown. The conductor did offer some interesting facts about the Union Canal as well as other items along the way. As... More

Took grandkids on this one hour ride today and they were thrilled. The whistle blowing sounded loud to them, but they generally live in a muted atmosphere. There are simple snacks for sale on the train and the ride is slow and the commentary iinformative. Don't expect the Orient Express, but the workers are volunteers helping keep alive the railroad... Dedicated to preserving the history of the affectionately called "Milk and Honey" run between Middletown and Hummelstown, the M&H RR operates train rides for young and old throughout the year, with holiday trips for Christmas and Easter (featuring special visitors). The conductor wears an appropriate uniform and eagerly poses for pictures with passengers. The station has been upgraded as a... More

Spent $33 for an adult and 2 kids tickets on my visa. Went to the other counter to get two bottles of water and a soda which came to $3.50. wouldn't take my card for the drinks because it was under $15. No ATM on sight so I refunded the tickets and left. Will not go back or recommend it... More

We decided to take our toddler on the train ride as she had never been on one before. It was only an hour long. The train was interesting and the conductor gave some good history of the area. It was fun, but I think the Sunday tours with lunch or the special holiday trains would be a better draw!

I went with my Book Club when we were reviewing "Girl On the Train". We had a delightful time and our slow movement down the rail line was very relaxing. Our guide/conductor, John Pullman. was very informative and well-versed on the history of this area and that of the train/transportation systems of the time. There were distractions of other passengers... More
