We haven't been to Tyler Arboretum in about 20 years, so when we saw a Groupon for half price, we decided it was time to visit. Tyler has many paths and trails. On this trip we decided to stay INSIDE the area surrounded by the deer fence (it is hunting season & deer hunting is allowed in the area surrounding... More

$9.00 for a ticker was overpriced. Nice walking trail but not much more. Staff friendly and talkative about what to look for on a walk.

I saw a deal for this location on Groupon. I bought it on a whim and figured I would check it out. We ended up going on a gorgeous October afternoon. What a gorgeous place! It was filled with walking trails and fun tree houses for kids to play in. We spent hours walking around and admiring all of the... More

It is beautiful and multiple trails to take. We had one of our party who balked at some of the more strenuous walks but there was something there for every level. Would have been nice to take our picnic out away from the main building. Also the trails could have been a bit more clearly marked as we got a... More

Looking for beauty and/or solitude? Here's a peaceful getaway, just right for strolling. At the Visitor Center you will receive a helpful map and some insider tips for where to go and what to see! Browse the small gift shop if you like, but you will need to enter the grounds proper to find restrooms. Although the entire site consists... More

Great way to appreciate nature! Cute treehouses and features for children to explore. We went in the fall and many of the flowering plants were dying but great fall foliage. Not overly crowded. Very relaxing and peaceful to stroll around. There was only 2 bathroom stalls and there was a wedding taking place at the barn where the bathrooms were-... More

So many trails to choose from, all well-marked. Can also pick up a map in the visitor center. Lots of shade and things to do for the kids--imaginative treehouses, summer camps, weekday outings and activities. They also have an annual plant sale that is wonderful.

My teenage daughter and toddler son had a great day here! We couldn't have asked for better weather. The staff were very friendly when we checked in. The grounds were breathtaking! I only wish I had more time to explore, but sadly we live in Delaware and had to get home for school the next day. But, the drive was... More

We enjoy taking our 2 year old to this arboretum. He can safely run around, explore the tree houses, and visit the goats.

If Longwood Gardens is for adults then Tyler Arboretum is definitely for kids. Longwood is too huge for little kids but you can do just about everything at Tyler Arboretum and still make the relatively short walk back to the car if a tantrum erupts. Don't think this is only for kids. Once you get deep into the Arboretum you... More
