Beautiful park... peaceful, lots of picnic areas, plenty of shade and pavilions to rent for the day at a reasonable price. Park rangers even checked in on us to make sure amenities were ok.

Have lived in Delco over 25 years and just discovered the hiking trails. Beautiful trails. Great for a nice hike. Trail Maps could be better but trails are pretty well marked. We spent about 1.5 hours on the yellow trail. Will definitely return.

Bike, hike, walk, or even just relax at one of the "lots" and have a cook out. It is a beautiful park with trails, playgrounds, gills and horses if you want to try your hand at that! Really great photo ops at the mansion too.

I've been doing some walks here lately and it's just r-e-l-a-x-i-n-g! What a nice calm place to walk around in! One of the paths is also good for family walks with babies as its asphalted.

, the park has several playground areas. All well maintained. Stop at the park office and check the map on the board for locations. They are just about in every picnic area in the park...hope this helps

Already answered above...this is correct info. I think the closest RV campground would be the KOA on RT 162 about 30 minutes away, south of West Chester PA
Hi, I am visiting Philadelphia and staying in the city centre. Can you please advise how to get to ridley creek? I could not find any public transport which takes all the way to the park.

There is no public transportation to the park. If you are down town you should use Philly car share for the day and drive out yourself. I would not recommend Uber as often times I have had friends get stuck out in Media... More
