If the wolves are feeling social, they'll come right up to the inner fence. Guides do go in between the two fences, and on our tour one of the guides was rubbing one if the wolves bellies. Most of the wolves look like they enjoy interaction with the guides, but some only at a distance. The guides were wonderful and totally respectful and knowledgeable of each of the wolves preferences. Very nice tour!
