Quirky cool

This is one of the wonders of Carbon County. The store is filled with items you don't need but will want! Always fun to bring out of town guests.

Put on your walking shoes, this is one big place. So much here, from food / snacks, hardware, garden stuff, toys & pets, I could go on. Fun place to wander in, I bet you will find lots of things to buy. The boss loves the 13lb bag of baking soda, and it's the only place where we can find... More

Although country junction may be a fun place to visit, the quality of their products are inferior, esp their puppies. Bought a puppy here who started to go blind only 4 mos after bringing hin home. When we got him he was 16 weeks. The doggie ophthalmologist stated due to his condition and the area he came from (Lancaster, pa)... More

What a dump. First off, the stuff inside is cheap, but on top of it all, overpriced. They have everything Walmart has, and Walmart is cheaper. Save yourself a trip. I don't normally grade low on this site as your can see, so when I say this is a dump, it is.

Country Junction is a good rainy day activity. Just follow the yellow brick road around the building. They have some neat stores. It was bigger before the fire, but it is still a fun afternoon out.

This place is great for travelers and vacationers to the Poconos. they always have something going on that is seasonally themed. They have all of one of a kind items and probably one of the largest decorating sign area for every taste.

We used to go here a lot before it burned down and was rebuilt. It was once promoted as "the largest general store" and indeed, it was. I feel the place has gone down hill and while the prices have gone up, the quality has gone down. That being said, the store employees are generally very nice, helpful, and informative.

Still an OK place. NY and NJ folks seem to like it, mostly over the holidays. The locals frequent it since its convenient for hardware, lumber etc. I can't say its improved any in the last several years except for Octoberfest and the renovation of the old Forest Inn hotel as a haunted house. I have fond memories of the... More
