You might as well visit the visitor center since you've picked a day that the central market is operating anyway. Good info; helpful lady in the visitor center.

Excellent visitor center. Helpful staff can offer lots of information, maps and brochures. Clean bathrooms and a beautiful craft gallery with high quality local crafts for sale. Great place to help you plan your visit.

The staff at the Discover Lancaster Visitors Center are super helpful and full of useful information to help you enjoy all that is available. Brochures and knowledge in abundance from shopping to dining, the best places to stay and the best things to see.

Called in here and was greeted by a pleasant lady at the desk. She was very informative and told us the best place to look for quilts and visit the Amish farms.
