What a great place to pick up local produce, meat, cheese, baked goods and homemade items. It's popular with the locals and the tourists. The market is packed and I'm told it rarely has an open space to rent. Pick up freshly made lunch while...More

Central Market is a nice place for tourists to downtown Lancaster a good place to see some local retailers, bakeries, farm markets and businesses sell their wares. Since it's one of the countries oldest operating markets, the historical aspect is great too.

We got so many great things in our visit to the central market: real sweet bologna (not Lebanon), home-made whoopie pies that were amazing, hand-made licorice in a wide variety of flavors, maple bacon sesame sticks, flavored peanut butters, fresh produce, and literally the BEST...More

Love this place, I bought so many wonderful items I thought I was going to go broke, but let me tell you prices were very reasonable. Try the Apple Maple sausages at one of the meat counters. They are fabulous.

Something for everyone. A quick cup of coffee, a week's worth of produce or lunch with friends. You can do it all here at the nation's oldest farmer's market. Get a sweet treat to take home!

From doughnuts to sausage to Mediterranean spices, this market has it all. We got some breakfast sandwiches and coffee and ate at a table on the street outside before perusing the shops. We ended up walking away with summer sausage snacks, Lebanon bologna, fresh milk...More

On Orange and Cafe 18 both on OrangeSt have breakfast. Four blocks northwest is Rachel's Creperie, my favorite in the area; it's on Walnut. Various market stands sell coffee, juices, and baked goods.
