This little zoo is a quaint little gem nestled away in the forest. The staff was incredibly friendly and personal. One lady was a little on the "short" side but she was trying to educate and several very poorly misbehaving field trips buses would not...More

Visited with wife, four year old son and friends with 17 month old in the middle of the week. Only a few other people in the place. Good weather. The kids really liked the animals, which is why we went. Lions roaring and walking around....More

We only live a few miles away and for years we would buy family passes for the season. This is a fantastic zoo to take the entire family.

Can be a little pricey but there are lots of coupons out there. They run great programs with animals up close for the kids.

Maybe I'm jaded, but that was just way too much money for so few animals. I felt like we'd made a huge donation to keep the animals alive.

It was a really nice zoo...and you could get up close and personal with the animals. Enjoyed stopping and getting to walk around without a crowd.

Nice smaller zoo type park. Smaller but enough to look at. Great local attraction for children. Friendly staff.

Love having a staff member talk to us about the lions in great detail. Then for the fist time to see them awake and hear them roar was amazing. Very clean place.

Yes. There were two otters. One was sleeping. The other was doing the swim and flip and dive routine much to my four year old son's delight. It looked like one of the otters had a skin condition or injury. Poor little guy... More

Is there a food court or restaurant?

There is really no restaurant. Just a snack area. This park isn't that big but has a lot of animals. Suggest eating before getting there or just get something quick there.
