We visit Middlecreek at least two or three times a month. Excellent place to view different kinds of birds, deer, and turkeys. We have seen Eagles. There is a walk way out to a pavilion overlooking the lake. Winter time brings ice fishermen, sprin sand fall showcase migrating geese and birds!

If you love wild life it is a must see!! You can see Canadian geese, Snow geese, all kinds of species of ducks, swans, Bald Eagles and a unlimited list of birds. If you are lucky you may see deer, and many other wild animals.

I was so disappointed having driven early morning and got there and signs up at the parking area that a goose hunt was in session. I did not see that on the website. I love to park and walk the path to the lake and just sit and watch the water fowl but not yesterday. It was a gorgeous day,... More

Did some early morning fishing on a chilly October day at Middle Creek. The beauty of the Fall trees across the reservoir is spectacular. The wind kicked up while I was there which made fishing difficult (only one catch) but the peace and beauty of this place made it all worthwhile. Would definitely try it again on a warmer day.

We have visited Middle creek many times a year for the past twenty five years. The museum is a good reference area for beginners or seasoned nature watchers. The facilities at the park offices has clean bathrooms and snack machines. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They are more than willing to to answer questions about a wide range of... More

My husband and I spend many a morning walking Tour Road when it is open, or walking the path to the pavilion where there is a view of the island in Middle Creek's lake. It is a well kept treasure in our area where you can find geese galore, deer, turkeys, squirrels and a variety of bird species. Rangers are... More

If you want to see some PA wildlife, this is a very nice place to visit. Nice driving and hiking. The visitors center is also worth a stop.

Not only does Middle Creek offer beautiful views and educational opportunities, but there are several good geocaches spread out over the trail system. It makes for a great hike!
