Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We both have some mobility issues. We found we could drive down to the beach and park in the few spots. However, I didn't think I was going to be able to walk from the car to the walkway to get to the stairs to access the beach. The incline was too steep for me, however, after a little thought I used the foldup chair as a walking aid and managed to get down, I can't sit on the ground. My partner used the chair to help him get back up the incline to the car. I can no longer balance to swim in the ocean and went to have a look at the ocean pool, but also found that too hard to access. My partner had a nice swim in the ocean.

A beautiful day to visit a beautiful beach. It is easy accessed and lovely to visit. A car park is situated right at the beach. There's also a sea water pool at the beach. Lots of sea life can be observed. What a lively lovely place!

This spot is very picturesque whether visiting for a swim or to just stop and stretch your legs. Accessible for disabled if you take the road next to the surf club and park right next to the sand and toilet block.Interesting rock pools and a sea pool for safer swimming if you are not into waves.. It was a week day when we visited so quiet and parking was easy and free. Picnic tables available. The beach was not patrolled the day we visited. Tuesday.

I had a walk to Main Beach while staying in the Cove hotel. Nice little beach with a pool on the side. I saw some people having their morning swim here. Good safe beach for families with kids I think.

Main Beach is the main patrolled swimming beach at Yamba. It is in a sheltered picturesque cove, and misses the worst of the south easterly winds. There is a lovely sandy beach here backed by grassy cliffs with the old lighthouse perched on top and some rocky outcrops at either end of the beach to add interest.
A seawater swimming pool has been constructed at the southern end for those who do not wish to brave the breakers.
The water was beautiful and clear when we swam at this beach. There are change and toilet facilities here as well as the Surf Club- house.
Parking is mainly at the top of the ridge leading down to the beach. Only 4-5 vehicles can park on the beach level.

Tis so pleasant to visit this beach, for a wander, a sit on the sand, and, at times, to see the dolphins frolicking just in front of you.

Yamba is located on the east coast and has some beautiful beaches , Main beach is one of the more popular beaches in the town . Its protected by the headland one side and rock wall on the other side great little surf spot, safe for swimming the beach is patrolled, it also has a rock pool that sits just along the rocks near the ocean its safe for kids and if you don't want to go into the waves at the beach this rock pool is perfect to just have a relaxing swim.
