Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is not a mass produced outlet but a hand made chocolate shop which provides a wide range of ‘fancy’ flavours and designs. Kids may be disappointed but if you like quality, dark chocolate you won’t be disappointed. Pricey!

I received a chocolate box as a gift and was not very impressed. The chocolates were beautifully made but that’s all they had going for them. Could only have imagined what the price tag would have been, lucky I didn’t have to pay it.

We went thinking it was just a chocolate factory. Luka's itself didn't really have much to offer ... We visited on a Sunday so no chocolate being made which was disappointing. The chocolate variety want great but it was the other business around that were great including eexcellent cafe, pub, cheese factory. Made the trip worthwhile

Lovely little chocolate shop. The honey chocolate honeycomb is wonderful! Only a small shop but worth a visit for sure

Went to buy gifts for my partners family who we were visiting on the coast. As I’m vegan, I didn’t think I’d find anything for myself. I was surprised to find they have a number of dark chocolates that are labelled vegan. In the cabinet, there are chocolate mint creams and on the shelves there are a number of dark chocolate dipped fruit and nuts. I bought semi-dried cherries, crystallised ginger, and a dark honeycomb block. They were all enjoyable. I liked the cherries best. There were a lot of delicious looking filled chocolates and truffles in the cabinet that I would’ve gone mad on during my pre-vegan days.
The product reminded me of Haigh’s Chocolate in both price and taste/ quality, which is nice but not my favourite. I don’t find it worth the money but plenty of people love it. I was happy to find a sweet, vegan treat to enjoy on my weekend away and to support a local business.

We had morning tea in the complex which was lovely and decided to look at the surrounding shops. We found the chocolate shop and all of the product looked lovely. Spent close to $40 on chocolates for my husband and two sons and was extremely dissapointed when we had some after dinner that night. Very ordinary chocolate. Tasted like compound cooking chocolate and not good quality stuff at that. Most of it ended up in the bin. Would not purchase from there again which is a shame as we like to support local business.

Anita. Thank you very much for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you did not like your chocolate. Our shop sells a combination of handmade chocolate, made from couverture chocolate, and resell items. Could you please provide a bit more information about your purchase as I would like to take the product off the shelf if there is an issue with it. If you are local I would really appreciate if you would call to the shop so we can have a chat about your experience. Once again thank you for your review.

After eating lunch at the tavern we stopped by the chocolate factory to get something to take home with us. The lady behind the counter had a very strange attitude about her and was not particularly helpful when I asked the location of something. It was a real shame because what we did buy was delicious but being made to feel silly because you are trying to locate something in a shop I didn’t enjoy. Quite expensive but no more than I expected.

This place is awesome. We have been here for several times tasting all those beautifully made, delicious chocolates.
The staff are super welcoming and very passionate about what they deliver.
They used to have an amazing hot chocolate but last time we went there they did not serve it anymore.
Anyway, I recommend all chocolate lovers just visit this place and enjoy the taste and beauty of the chocolates. The scotch one is super awesome.
It is right on the way, not a long detour.

This place is so cool lots of different types so everyone should be happy. The big viewing window is awesome watching the chocolate being made makes you want to just dive in the bowl lol. There is a few icecreams we tried the plain chocolate it was so niceeeeee but very rich and for the history buffs a timeline of chocolate is worth a read. The only bad part was not being able to buy them all to try guess we will have to go back again and again.

The family love visiting Luka chocolate shop. It is a treat as the chocolates are not cheap but worth every cent. The quality is evident in every delectable morsel. On weekends if we are feeling decadent we go in for real European style hot chocolate.
My most favourite gift for Mothers Day is a box of these amazing chocolates.
