We went in the closed car which is fine. A nice ride through the gorge. This year's color is weak but we still enjoyed the ride. Nice idea was the flip seats so you can see both sides.

It was a fun and informative ride in the Lehigh gorge on the train. The conductor was incredibly well informed and friendly . The views were great and the windows open too.

Maybe it's because we have taken other foliage train rides and been in the Rockies but we were disappointed. First off I had a rather cumbersome walker, other passengers helped me get it onto the train. The staff never offered. There were many passengers with...More

Did the open air train to see the changing foliage. Unfortunately, we were about a week early and leaves were still mostly green, but was still pleasant ride. Feels like you went back in time. I would definitely reccomend!

We chose to ride in the open air part of the train. It was $19, which I though was a little pricey, but the day was warm and sunny. Not much scenery or wildlife, but a fun way to spend a couple hours.

The train ride was OK. It's an out-and-back, and it wasn't quite as "scenic" as we thought it would be. Mostly trees and the river. I'd say it's worth doing with kids as they should enjoy the ride. There was also a little outdoor market...More

We took this ride from Jim Thorpe and were very pleased. We also took the Autumn leaf Steam train #425 from Reading, Pa, had a 3 hour layover in Jim Thorpe and then back to Reading. It was a wonderful experience!!!

Nice train ride with great information given. Go early ride the train and then go visit the Jail. Outside carriage worth the extra money. They need more bathrooms as there can be a. Long line.
