Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Out at the northeast point of Woy Woy means it's away from the horrid town centre and is a very pleasant place to be. Poorly looked after but full if pelicans and ducks. Of course, the car park is bigger than the park, the bowling club is bigger than the park, and the human access is overrun with cyclists. Further west along the waterfront might actually be better with the sand, trees, boats, oysters and fishing, just don't go all the way to town.

Its quiet, you can put a boat in, but the best is the simplicity of a fun area for kids to play, whilst you relax with a picnic, sometimes we have stopped at the co op for fish n chips to take...
Toilet facilities are new which a great convenience, you cant beat a simple park area with an awesome path to walk as well when you need a stretch, always blissfully quiet too.. enjoy!

This is a great place to visit and take the family for a pic-nic. I used to take my son to this park when he was only 4...... and up to 8. We had many happy memories here. Sometimes, you get to watch the boats as they pass by. The Ferry that makes it way around the picturesque and beautiful Brisbane Water. This is a very popular spot for tourist too. The scenery is relaxing and inviting too. Come along and slow down and enjoy the views.

Woy Woy could be one place drawing less attention for day trip in Sydney. It's grossly unfair after you discover the beauty of Woy Woy. Lion Park is just the start of the pleasure walk from train station. If you happen to visit Woy Woy from Central, it is just 1 hour 15 minutes away.
I have visited Woy Woy many times and am never tired of visiting more. From Lion Park, you can walk in leisure speed along the coast and will be rewarded with beautiful landscape and birds. Since Woy Woy may not draw much attention, surrounding is peaceful from start to end, depending where you want to return from the single direction track. Winter is no different in Woy Woy. You can have a quick eat before taking the train back at The Boulevarde.

This has a good childrens playground, public toilet area, boat ramp and plenty of shade and a couple of tables for a picnic. Plenty of car parking, but can get very busy sometimes.

Whether it’s a playground, boat ramp, cycle paths or grassed area with picnic tables you are after, the Lions Park offers it all. Right next door to a club if you want to access their facilities, leaves this park very attractive for varied activities. Throw a line in and take your chance on catching a fish or two.

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy the nature surrounded by ducks, parrots, and pelicans. Just take your book and go.
