Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went there on an amazingly windy, and chilly morning. Whilst we were nearly blown away we had the most wonderful time whale spotting - flippers, tails, breaches and just generally swimming and sparkling in the morning sunshine. We went back again later in the day, and the next day, and the next day - it was so good. Some nicely paved walks down and around the headland. Easy to read story board. Easy to drive to or easy to walk up and back from the town. Good parking. Lots of islands. Don't forget your binoculars - most important!

We have been to this lookout many times but our friends had not. It was a magic day so we took them for a visit.
They were so impressed with the beautiful scenery, the lovely white sandy beach stretching to the North and South.
The coastal walk runs just past this lookout. Just another way to experience this beautiful bit of coastline.

Well made paths lead to and from the headland and form part of the Solitary Islands walking track. The headland is a popular spot to stop and enjoy spectacular views over the ocean.

Visited on Friday 18th June. We stopped in Woolgoolga and drove along Ocean Street to the Headland Lookout. You get a superb view of the beach looking north and south. The Solitary Islands coastal walk passes nearby and it is a good place to go exploring from.
