Great place for opal fossicking. Friendly and easy to get around. The township is only small but the obviously support each other and the history here was amazing and the township is obviously very proud.

Apart from the Underground Hotel, there is not that much in White Cliffs to drive out of the way for. The Opal experience etc. is far, far better at Lightening Ridge or even Coober Pedy. Having said that, the surrounding country side is awe inspiring...More
