I described this town to my brother as, "It's like the Wild West... I am half expecting to see cowboys pacing in the street and shooting each other". However, I meant that in a good way.... I found this town so charming. The people everywhere in every business were the friendliest people I have ever met. The town has some remarkable buildings along the Main Street, so if you click on the website you can actually do a heritage walk with audio. The walk starts in the Tattersall Hotel- it tells you all about the history of the Tattersall, then continues on to the Russell Drysdale Monument ... you will end the walk at the Community Church which is the 12th audio file. The gentleman doing the audio has a very pleasant voice and he sounds like he would make a good tour guide.
