Would like to see some of the old things preserved and restored. Maybe TAFE could get on board and help them out?? Roofs needed cleaning before they rust out - just full of leaves. That said the attractions and shows were very interesting and the school kids that arrived seem to be have a great time. Loved the ride on... More

Good place to take kids. If u have prams can be a lottle tricky if you want to hop on mini trains but great otherwise. Train ride was fantastic. Would definitely take the kids wen they are a little older.

Interesting and a nice setting. The bullock team presentation was good. I was disappointed some of the heritage shops and other buildings were empty or closed. I accept it wasn't holiday season but i paid the same entry fee.

This is a really fun historic village and well worth the $18.50 each for Seniors. For that price one has inclusive steam train rides in which you can actually smell the coal smoke form a bygone era, horse drawn carriage rides and a fascinating demonstration of a working bullock team. The park is set in an atmospheric woodland setting and... More

We did everything there was to do. Those of us able to climb in the wagon did the horse drawn wagon ride, we rode on the train around the town and the lagoon, we watched the bullocks (who apparently weren't as well behaved as they usually are) - their bullocky was entertaining and informative, the blacksmith was a hoot. My... More

We had a lovely day out at Timbertown. The horse and carriage ride and the steam train was a definite highlight. We enjoyed watching the bullock demonstrations too! The only disappointing part was the food available. Everything was junk food and very limited choice. This definitely needs to be reassessed as nearly all visitors ate at the restaurant.
