A further walk after lunch

This walk starts at the park on the waters edge and winds its way up along the cliff to go past the accomodation on the opposite of the street and around to the surf club house

This walk along the ocean entrance has some great information about the history of the area. There are several places to rest and enjoy the view. This walk also joins up with the walk/ride to the lake area. The lake ride/walk is also a great place to experience. Bikes are not supposed to be ridden on the heritage walk but... More

This was a lovely way to enjoy our ice cream, chatting about the day, sharing the path with others (but not crowded). As it parallels a (not very busy) street, you could be dropped off at the top, & then picked up at the bottom. Path is sure-footed, well fenced & has seats along the way to rest or take... More

Sights of anglers, carefree drifting boats and Pelicans to crashing waves and distance oil ship liners in the deep blue sea. Highly relaxing. Lots of sign boards along with interesting history of the area for you to connect with the place as you walk. Bring a hat, wear sunscreen and comfortable walking gear- you can wade in the water at... This walk has great views all around The Entrance and Long Jetty. Don't do the entire walk in one go if you are not very fit. It takes a long time, covering a large area. The part of the walk that goes through Long Jetty (and past the jetty itself) unfortunately includes sewerage stink all along the lakeside area.

It was unexpectedly fascinating to follow this walk and to read all the signs and examine the photos of the (tough) days gone by during the development of The Entrance. We followed the edge of the beach as closely as we could all the way back to the Toowoon Bay Holiday Park (a good 30-45 minutes) and were delighted with... More

Facing the ocean, trees, sand, bridge, you will forget time. Even forget where you are. Hope I can stay here longer.

Family enjoyed the short foreshore walk during our visit. Well paved with an excellent view of The Entrance. Lots of pelicans and other birds but no fish sighted during this visit.

The beach, the lake and most of all the beautiful Pelicans. Such a calming, peaceful experience on an overcast winters day. Evoking memories from my childhood
