Terrigal Beach is an excellent, safe surfing beach located on the NSW Central Coast. On the southern end is The Haven which is as the name implies asafe haven for boating when the southerly busters hit. It is also a great place to safely Scuba Dive. Adjacent to The Haven is The Skillion which is a headland jutting out into... More

I live around the corner and am here all the time. It's friendly but a bit expensive if you eat out a lot

Beautiful clean water and pretty headlands. Nice walking paths along the front of the beach with pine trees for shade. Plenty of food and drink offerings opposite the beach from nice restaurants to cafes, bars and takeaway. Parking can be difficult at times and traffic can build up. There is a multi story car park up the back.

Not overcrowded, across the road from lots of shops for food and drinks, great for kids, not too rough

Terrigal beach is one of the few places in Australia that the beach isn't so over populated that it's uncomfortable. The waves aren't huge so very family friendly and a good range of shops and food outlets within walking distance.

The beach is great first thing in the morning with only a few people out and about, but in summer is quickly fills up with people ready to enjoy the sea and sun. Cars are a bit of an issue and it can be a little noisy but there are a range of places to eat and drink along the... More
