Sapphire Spa is located directly opposite the beautiful Tathra beach only 25mins north of Merimbula, where we offer a range pampering packages and therapeutic Massage treatments for both men and women, and are also able to cater to couples and group bookings. We also specialize in Spray Tans. At Sapphire Spa it is our goal to pamper and relax.

I had an hour and a half massage with Nell, and it was amazing. I’m a massage therapist from California and have had a lot of massages and am very picky. Because of the good reviews, I took a chance and so glad I did.

We had the two and half hour Sapphire signature. It was absolutely beautiful. A very big thank you to Noi & Vanessa. We left there feeling very relaxed.

I have had over 4 massages at this site and have found nell the owner manager to be outstanding in her skill level using many different techniques to help each time in addition to massage but at no additional cost. I have found her courteous to a fault, on time and of a rare skill level. I found she goes above and beyond what is expected and required. she remains a rare thing a practitioner with very high standards who is entirely focussed on making your issue better. There is no one in this region that approaches her skills

My two friends and I had appointments for two treatments to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived we overheard afternoon appointments being cancelled due to a staff member being unwell while we were left to wait. Eventually we were taken into our respective rooms for treatments 10 minutes into the massage treatment two of us were disturbed on multiple occasions and the unwell staff member left shortly after. My friend was left alone on the massage table for over 40 minutes and still charged, while one therapist came and went between the two of us. The second treatment was cancelled for all of us despite the service being pre-booked with the two remaining therapists also.
The customer service was poor and the situation handled poorly, we all left feeling disappointed. I understand staff feeling unwell and would not have objected to forfeiting a treatment, or being advised upfront instead overhearing it and having 2 out of 3 appointments affected and only receiving half or less of what we booked for.
Unfortunately this is not a place I would recommend :(

It upsets me to hear that you have not enjoyed your experience at Sapphire Spa. I admit it is not a situation we have been in before & apologise for this ruining your special time together. Yes one of our therapists told me she was unwell & would like to reschedule her afternoon to go home & rest however she felt she could complete your treatments so I didn't feel we needed to inform you, however 30mins into treatment this therapist felt like she was going to faint & interrupted our treatment to say she could not continue, as this was the birthday girl I thought it would be best to continue your sisters treatment so she enjoyed her birthday gift. The therapist that was ill had to lay down & was therefore unable to paint your toes, im sorry. In checking your appointments out I only charged you for a 30min treatment & as I continued your sisters treatment I felt she had the full hour.
Im sorry this was the case, I will offer you a full refund of all of the treatments & we do hope we can pamper you again so that we can change your opinion of our service.

For over twelve months I have repeatedly returned for regular massages and periodic pampering including saunas, body scrubs, facials and a magnesium mud wrap. Sapphire Spa provides a high quality service with friendly staff in a lovely environment. I leave feeling wonderfully relaxed and grateful for their expertise.

Today was the second time I have visited Sapphire Spa, both times a present from my husband.
Each time I have been looked after by Nell, she is lovely, with a very warm personality. I have old nursing injuries which painfully plague me on a daily basis, and at the moment I’m concerned with plantar fasciitis which is unrelentingly painful in certain spots. Nell used the Physio key in this region for about 10-15 minutes. It has a sensation like a TENS machine (my experience anyway), in the arch of the foot, this can be adjusted to your tolerance level, and is not painful. It is designed to interact with your bodies own pain/healing centres in the brain to disrupt the pain you experience with your disorder & to restore your pain experience to a healed one after a few treatments. Already I am able to walk on my sore foot with much reduced pain, so I highly recommend this treatment. Thankyou Nell, you have worked your magic once again and I am eternally grateful to you.
Go & see Nell at Sapphire Spa, she is very caring & will work with you to improve whatever ails you 😇😇😇

Clean, smells good, convenient location with friendly staff. Nell, thank you for your magic hands and post-massage tips! I loved hearing the sounds of the surf while drifting off during my treatment. It was a great way to finish off my holiday and helped me enjoy a comfortable (long) drive home.

I visited the spa for an afternoon of pampering and I was not disappointed. I had the spa signature package which included a full body scrub with heavenly coconut and guava scrub, followed by a hydrating massage with coconut oil, a facial and mini pedicure. I was looked after so well by all of the staff but particularly Nell. She took the time to work through what products that my sensitive skin would manage and it turned out to be a wonderfully relaxing experience. I also enjoyed sitting in the comfy chair looking directly at Tathra beach whilst my tired feet were pampered. Thank you ladies for looking after me and making me feel so welcome.
I can highly recommend this spa if you are visiting the sapphire coast. What a wonderful present for a wife, partner, mum etc whilst you are on holidays. You will definitely score some brownie points if you buy her a gift voucher and let her decide what she would like.
I will make this regular occurrence when I visit Tathra to get away from the big smoke.
Tathra is a wonderful coastal town that experienced horrific bush fires in March 2018. If you coming this way please pop in and support the local community.the beach front was not affected by the fires so it is still a beautiful town to visit.

Took my friend there for a massage, pedicure and body scrub. She was a bit nervous, having never done anything like that before but the staff were so lovely and tried their best to ease her into it. She said she felt great afterwards and her skin felt, looked and smelt so nice! I convinced her to get her toenails painted hot pink at the end and they looked so good. I really want to go and experience a facial and pedicure now! Nice view too 😊
