A Flying Fox colony in the park has made it unusable. The bad smell and noise can be detected before you even reach the park.. Trees have died and the council has had to remove many of them to try and deter the bats. My...More

The park is now inviting, open and airy since the large trees have been removed. The open space is great for family picnics and for the kids to run around to break the monotony of travel

Trees have been removed to force the bats that have been living in them for several years & the park looks neat & tidy now but it has a long way to go before it is anything like the beautiful park it was

In the last few months the park has deteriorated significantly. So much that the council has fenced the whole area off due to falling branches. A once beautiful place to relax, now damaged beyond repair thanks to the resident flying foxes.

This is a real pity!! This park is so important for the city of Singleton - it even has the town's cinetaph - but the darn bats have destroyed it. The smell, visual effects and sounds are horrible! This has to change! Everyone sign that...More

Unfortunately the park is no longer accessible due to tree damage. The daily invasion of roosting bats has caused so much damage to the trees and caused an uninhabitable space for sitting or dining.
