Really liked this one. Very simple but very accurate timepiece. If you're travelling with kids, get them to try to tell the time. Opportunity to get some good pics.

This was once the world's biggest sundial, but has apparently now been out done by someone else. An interesting stop if passing through Singleton, especially if you are into "big" things. You can park on Ryan Avenue or in the mall car park over the...More

It's certainly a feature: a huge concrete sundial. I walked over to look at it and was underwhelmed to be fair. Personally, I don't think a concrete sundial is a bad idea, but a bit of texture or some designs on it would have improved...More

This is an interesting place to visit that is also educational in that it shows how you can tell time by the position of the sun. Great for the kids. Short stop to visit but worthwhile.

an interesting sun dial because of its size, its in a wonderful spot for a picnic or walk, if travelling through the area it is worth a look.

The Sundial is next to a nice park, a decent shopping mall and a fitness gym. It is THE sundial and that's what it is. If you set your expectation right, you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect anything fancy.

Its not much, but always good to say you've seen the "worlds biggest" anything. It really works and is an educational experience for the kids.

You can check off on your list "the world's largest sundial" but otherwise it sounds more impressive than it actually is. However, the park "behind" the sundial - Rose Point, is really nice and heavily shaded with big trees for the kids. We had a...More

This was very interesting and the only worthwhile thing I found to visit at Singleton. Everything else listed was strangely hard to find and of no interest when you did find it. People were unfriendly except the lady at the Woolworths petrol station who was...More

Whilst it says it's the biggest Sundial in the southern hemisphere it was a basic 2 minutes to look at. Pity it wasn't with some more interesting stuff. The park behind it held my interest for more than 2 minutes. It's in the heart of...More
