Was an great afternoon at the museum with a amazing presentation of history and very informative to all my family. We attended with 4 generations of our family, we have a large history of military in our family with, my father who was with us being in the RAAF for many years. I would also like to thank WO11 Black who showed us around, shared memories with my dad and mum, had many laughs, and looked after my grandson (7) who is tank mad. My dad told me he had a great day there that he won't forget. Thank you so much.

Excellent museum that helps people to appreciate how much our soldiers have done for us over the years. Great cafe too!

The museum is quite a new, purpose built facility with a wealth of history. Throughly recommended. We arrived towing a caravan, no dedicated place for long vehicles so we parked in the empty car park next to it. WELL, WW3 broke out when the security guard started bollocking at me to move, can't park there. Tore me a new a/ hole. So Army!

This museum though small is filled with interesting exhibits and memorabilia. The staff are very helpful and happy to share their knowledge. It is well set out and easy to navigate in an I rushed hour.

Just outside Singleton. This display gives a detailed look at Australia's military history, activities and equipment all in a respectful atmosphere. The displays are quite detailed and deserve time to fully appreciate them properly. The lighting is sombre but lit well enough for good photographs. There is also a cafe on site.

Was amazed to see the state of the art facilty.
Excellent reception and welcome by the Military Officer in charge.
Staff were attentive and very helpful but not overly intrusive.
The layout of the museum and presentation of historical information was comprehensive and excellent.
Would recommend a visit to this facilty by both young and old. It presented very well the history of Australia's Infantry engagement.

Well worth a visit if you're in Singleton a very interesting display of Australian involvement in overseas conflict, some I never knew existed, I took some friends who were only here for a short visit and hadn't been myself before, I'll definitely take others and would recommend it to anyone

We rode from Newcastle to the museum to take a look at the history of war.
But unfortunately while we were having a beautiful morning coffee and snacks the power went off and we were unable to enter the museum but are going back in May

What a great museum detailing the history of the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. Located at the entrance to the Lone Pine Barracks in Singleton the entrance fee is very reasonable .... cheap even. The museum has a range of displays showing how the corps developed from a colonial force through to the modern regular army we have today. The ground floor has displays outlining the conflicts and peace keeping missions the army has been involved in, whilst the 1st floor has displays of the various weapons used through the years. The museum also has a restaurant and gift shop.

As you go into the display room there is a very good presentation on the wall of the Gallipoli campaign. I learnt a few new things.
Inside there is the complete historical picture of the Australian Infantry beginning with Sudan to Afghanistan. I spent a couple of hours reading and watching the cycle of videos.
Well worthwhile.
Finished with a pleasant lunch and coffee at the cafe.
