I work in museums but rarely visit museums in regional towns as I find most to be quite tedious. I had intended to take in the infantry museum for some time as it is close to where I attended high school Cadet Corps training camps...More

Would recommend it to anyone visiting Singleton to check out the School of Infantry Museum. Would have liked more time to look at all floors but what I saw was terrific.

Beautiful displays of history, drawing out the big pictures of the Australian defence force. Creating a respectable atmosphere to venture around the exhibit. Gift shop and cafe as well as an amazing exhibition and data about the developments in Australia's past. Some degree of interaction.
