Spent 3 days with the family and grandkids in two large caravans over on the eastern shore side recently.
Exceptionally pleased with the friendly and very helpful staff both at checkin and in the store.
Park had water for our vans. No power but we are set up with solar so it was'nt an issue. All the family loved the kangaroos and birdlife right at the door. Not intrusive in any way the 'roos just come down from the mountain in the morning and afternoon to feed on the lush grass growing there at present and the kids were amazed by that experience.
The day recerational area was a big hit with the whole family and we all spent a few fun hours there.
Nice and quite at nightime and secure enough during the day if you want close the van up and take a day trip out of the park to see the sights or just explore the surrounding rural area.
We are organising another visit soon with an additional van and a few more grandkids
Highly recommended for an enjoyable and affordable family caravan or camping experience

I wanted to attend the park to have a look at some potential camping sites. I have been to Glenbawn Dam before and the office use to be located before the boom gate and you were allocated an hour to drive around the park before being charged. They have now moved the reception office to the kiosk where you then need to pay. I asked when i got there about having a drive around, the lady Angela quite rudely told me it was $14 to just drive around. I advised I only wanted to look at unpowered sites where she told me too bad it's $14. I asked her if I drive out now, i still need to pay. She said that I wouldn't be able to exit the park without paying the $14. She advised there was a sign at the boom gate advising of day pass fees, I also advised I would not be here for the day but 15 minutes, she again said too bad. Moral of the story is that there is a sign at the boom gate advising, I rang the number TWICE to ask and no one answered so I drove to reception. You don't have a choice but to pay the $14 whether you want to or not! This is a rip off for 15 minutes of my time and I WILL NOT RETURN! Perhaps you should answer the phones to answer enquiries or clearly state that you no longer offer hour tours of the park. Answer your phones, state that there is a fee to enter and have a look around and don't trick people into entering the park now that you've moved your reception office within the park. To top it off Angela returned my call (hours later) asking if she could assist me with my enquiry!!!

After paying $15 to get into the park only to be there for 2 hours for a family BBQ the BBQs were filthy been like it for quite awhile as was hard to scrub off. I understand it's the last person to use job to clean them but surely they have someone that comes around daily to check these things? Then had trouble at the gate trying to get out, no reception at the gate so had to use pay phone which was hard to hear what other end was saying, lack of signs of after hour numbers. Been visiting this park for years and just seems to be going down Hill. The prices keep going up but nothing ever seems to be change.

Booked 3 nights but extended it to 4 nights due to the spectacular scenery and experience we were having at Lake Glenbawn and nearby Scone.
We stayed in Bungalow 3 which had a great view of the lake and was very quiet and private.
Four nights here felt like a month - we were so relaxed and happy. Tried our luck fishing and enjoyed the most incredible light shows at sunset on the lake - a photographers dream.
The fauna and birdlife were just so thrilling for us. Each morning and evening the kangaroo families would graze right outside our cabin. So many butterflies and birds such as crimson rosellas, king parrots, butcher birds and even an owl were a joy to see.
We absolutely loved our stay at Reflections Lake Glenbawn.
*The only disappointment was the amount of litter left by previous visitors. Just around our cabin alone I picked up water bottles, beer caps, plastic wrappers, paper, and even a broken schooner glass! The lake foreshore was just as disheartening with broken glass, thongs, toilet paper (?!!!), plastics etc.

A huge park with a bush park appeal. The Lake is accessible easily to launch craft and the boat ramps are easy.
On the Aus Day long weekend it had a lot of people but no where seemed crowded. We chose our own unpowered site and there was no one close to us. It was very hot but we were under the shady trees on the hill. A cool breeze at night.
I would definitely recommend this park.

A beautiful place to stop and unwind. Set up your tent, open a drink, sit and watch the world go by. Great camping areas, facilities and very quiet. We stayed on an unpowered camping site right next to the lake and it was perfect. Our children had a great time - bike riding, swimming, fishing, walking the dog. Looking forward to going back.

We've been going for many years with a couple of other families. The kids love it, wake boarding, kayaking, fishing and just being kids. This lets the adults relax. Good amenities, friendly staff and just a wonderful family holiday. We will continue to stay there in our caravans and camp trailer, right on the waters edge for many more years. Outstanding!

Visited today for a look with the intention to return for a camping trip. Top office unattended but had a sign saying you can enter through boom gate and proceed to kiosk. Kiosk turned out to be 5km away. Got to kiosk and it's closed for lunch. Had a 20 minute look around then drove back to exit. Was unable to exit through boom. A passer-by told me I needed to return to kiosk to pay and get exit code (10km round trip). Was told there is no such thing as a free look, despite management saying there is elsewhere on this page and on other websites. Cost me $14 to get out. On exit, I re-checked the sign on the entry gate and could find no mention of the need to pay to have a look. While it won't
break the bank, I feel thoroughly ripped off and won't be going back to camp there, and will warn others of the trap.

Great weekend with friends and families, plenty to do. Facilities were clean and tidy and camping grounds were well maintained. time to relax, enjoy the views and get plenty of fishing in. Would go again if the opportunity comes up. The rain made things a bit miserable but you get that when you go camping. Some of the group went to the Gundy pub and had a great time. Highly recommend Lake Glenbawn and Reflections Park for a relaxing getaway.

Pet friendly our furkid girls loved it. Camped waterside was so serene, perfect for relaxing either on land or water. We were self sufficient though a few of our 30 people headed to kiosk, lovely friendly helpful staff & to the amenities which where clean & tidy. Highly recommend for big or small campside gatherings. Bye 2021 hello & Happy new year’s…. It was a blast! Thank you to all staff at Lake Glenbawn.

Is there any free camping for self contained vans nearby?
