The big potato good for a pic and smile
Jan. 2021 • Friends
Good for a photo to add to the collection of all the big Australian things you can see me do! The potato had a good grassy background around blue skies. It was something to break up the trip and say that you’ve seen, the Robertson town was a cute little town to visit.

Tick this one off your "Big Things" list
Jan. 2021
The best thing about this refurbished big potato is that by visiting it you can tick another attraction off your "Big Things" visitation list. Stop at the attraction, take the obligatory photo's and move on.

dumb but super-fun
Dec. 2020
It's utterly ridiculous, but that's what makes it so much fun! I think it's a must-visit if you're in the area, though it's probably not worth going a long way out of your way to see

It’s a big potato 🥔
Dec. 2020 • Friends
The Big Potato at Robertson. Lots of street parking, hop out, take a photo and move on. Five minutes is more than enough time. It’s a must see if aiming to visit all of Australia’s ‘big’ attractions like the big banana, big prawn, big guitar etc 🥔

Big: yes Potato: arguable
Jul. 2020 • Business
Lots of sources of confusion.

For one, I don't see any arable cropping around the locale.

Secondly, looks more like a yam than a potato, but who am I to judge?

The biggest mystery lies in why they decided to cover up the doors that are hidden (conspiracy???) at the rear. What secrets does the mildly amusing yet oh so underwhelming construct hold.

Best day of my life
Feb. 2020
I absolutely loved the big potato. It was everything I was expecting and more!! Can’t believe people are disappointed by this work of art, even bought potato overalls nearby so I could remember this moment forever! If you don’t like the big people you just don’t have a heart... very disappointing that this lovely innocent potato can get so much hate. Will be back soon 🥔🥔🥔

Nice Garden Around the Big Spud
Jan. 2020 • Couples
We have seen a lot of “big” things to showcase what the main agricultural industry of an area is.
This big spud is a little worse for wear and probably needs revamping. Maybe they could make it into a sprouting spud.
Park is nice where the spud is located and I guess we did learn something today. Never realised this was a potato growing area.

Tragically pathetic
Dec. 2019
When I am on a long tour, I plan numerous stops along the way to stretch and refresh. I saw this on Google maps, and thought it would be worth a moment as it was on my way.

ummmmm. Hard to get excited by a huge brown lump (potato). Also hard I expect to design something of visual interest when the subject matter is a simple potato. A creative person may have thought to make it a Stuffed Potato, with bacon, sour cream and shallots out the top !

So much like a hammer horror film, its enjoyable Because it is tragic.
