The Hunter Region Botanic Gardens are the only Botanic Gardens in the Hunter Valley and provide a multipurpose destination venue that offers our visitors a peaceful and beautiful garden and bushland setting. There is a cafe and gift shop, nursery sales, guided tours, Children's Adventure Trail and facilities for weddings, conferences and other functions. The Gardens are also a centre for research, education and knowledge sharing on botanical matters for the Hunter Region.

A group coach tour stopped off for a garden view and morning tea. There is much to see and the tropical orchid house was in bloom. A relax in the cafe for coffee & cake after the walk.More

A nice way to spend a couple of hours enjoying some nice examples of Australian Flora. There is a great little tea house on site run by volunteers who serve great refreshments and some nice scones.

The volunteers have done a great job making this place beautiful and easy to visit. An easy couple of hours to meander without crowds. Love the succulent section and the orchids. Mozzies can be bad, but just come prepared.More
