Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Turned up recently on a Friday night after 1.3 km walk through wetlands (great) from caravan park to have a few craft brews, food, support local business. Very busy (great to see post COVID). Had a beer and asked about having a pizza but told it was $10 cover charge (sole guitarist) on top of $23 pizza. Out of my price range so moseyed off back home.

Very lovely, a cosy microbrewery in the Sapphire Coast area. Although we stayed in Tura Beach, Longstocking was recommended and didn't disappoint. Recommend the cider, and the Pale Ale. Stayed for pizzas, although the oysters, which were on the menu, weren't available for our evening meal. This is the only reason why not a full 5 stars. Disappointing considering it is "oyster country". Beer was excellent.

What a lovely brewery! We initially went to the brewery to buy some beverages to take back to our accommodation and were mighty impressed by the charm of the brewery. The staff were quite friendly and polite! We returned with my family later in the week for lunch! We were sat on a table to the side of the brewery on the deck which overlooked the grassed area and the petting zoo area and it was delightful! The drinks were beautiful and the pizza was quite delicious. It would, however, be nice to see other dishes on the menu for those that don’t like or eat pizza or oysters. This is the only thing I could fault! Otherwise we had a wonderful time and will definitely return on our next trip to Merimbula!

Decided to pop in for a quick drink on Oz day and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere.
Staff were extremely friendly and happy to talk and beer was cold which was perfect.
Pizza was ok but when you had a band belting out classic aussie anthems it was hard not to leave without a smile on your face

Came in for an afternoon snack and a beer. First young guy to serve me was nice and polite. Tried to order some food with my beer as I had to drive and had an empty stomach. But was informed by an unfriendly female staff member that they where not doing food and that i would have to wait for over an hour to order a pizza. Maybe they where having a bad day but all the staff except one where unfriendly and I don't think I witnessed a smile while I was there. Even though I was friendly and polite. Bit disappointed really. On a positive the ginger beer was delicious.

On a recent trip to the beautiful south coast we spent the afternoon and evening at Longstocking Brewery. We sat among the vines on comfy lounges drinking the delicious ginger beer and ciders. We ordered oysters and pretzels as well as the wood fires pizza, all were delicious! Highly recommend spending some time in such a lovely setting.

Every food we ordered had missing ingredients and the worst of our evening was the Diavolo pizza, truly uneatable ! My husband ate it and was sick all night.
The price is also ridiculously high for the pizzas poorly made.
My best advice, don't order any pizza, just have a beer or go somewhere else...

While the setting was really great and if time had of permitted this would be a great place for a pizza lunch. However it is a brewery and while it did have beers on tap, which looked great there was no take away available, either in bottles or squealers available for filling. This is a bit disappointing as it is the only craft brewer in the region and it was the long weekend. A bit of bad planning on someones part!!

The tipping point was the extremely friendly staff who made the visit. The Pizza was good but pricey while the beers were not their strong point I'm afraid. Luckily the guest brewers were a good pick and I'm not a cider person so that restricted the choice some? But overall a good place & if they brew a few new beers, some Hasty's maybe?? The best part was I got my first concert in since Covid hit and enjoyed Frankie J Holden & his Beaut Utes. Got there early & had their rehearsal to enjoy with a beer or seven. Next time I hope they do more Ol'55 for us oldies but still very entertaining & funny show!

Great spot! Beautiful outlook, lovely inside and out. The small barn with the animals is perfect for children. They also had cricket stumps, bats and balls on the lawn for everyone to use. Able to order pizzas and oysters from the Brewery and or food from the cafe next door. Also has a cute nursery out front.
