Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lots of fun fornthe whole family. Staff were lovely and very kind. The toboggan was awesome and the mini putt putt was loads of fun. Other activities to do were good to. Something for everyone to do

Huge line for the toboggan but people are allowed to go round and round staying on as many times as they like causing huge wait times. An absolute joke.

It was horrible, the roller skating was a waste of time because myself and all the people around me were hurting themselves and falling onto the extremely hard CONCRETE floor, I almost broke my wrist because of this. Overall the experience was terrible, would not recommend.

The line system they have encourages everyone to stay in the ride for multiple rounds or risk wasting their tickets, this results in hour long queuetimes for queues of just 30 people. While the staff are friendly enough, and other attractions don't suffer this problem, the namesake ride experience should not have this big an issue

Overpriced, low quality experience.
Their website is terrible making it impossible to plan your visit.
Their ticketing system is a nonsense and expensive meaning that I am paying $10 just to supervise my child using their own skates in a hall.
Climbing wall $10 a climb? Very expensive .
Toboggan run is fun but closed in the wet and has long I’ll managed queues in the dry.
Place is up for sale but only a fool would purchase such a money pit.

Toboggan run is operated terribly with multi ride holders staying on the rides forever making queues long and unnecessary, and if you post a review and a suggestion the owners will tell you you are dumb. Don't waste your time here if you are a parent and don't want to spend a day waiting in queue for hours.

I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. This place has the worst customer service. People were allowed to go on the rides multiple times without having to wait in line again so others had to wait so much longer. Some guy got to go again but didnt have a ticket but the staff let him through anyway. Why am I paying then? Some kid got a second go of the rock climbing but when my son wanted a second go, the staff said no.

Waited for a long time for all the rides, most of which were old. Waste of money and staff were rude

Extremely rude staff. Don't spend your money here and waste your family holiday. An older lady in glasses and a younger man driving the train. Wait line for toboggan is over an hr. Very over priced.

A short drive from the seaside town centres and accommodations, the park is nice place to spend a morning or an afternoon in, whether you are a family with child(ren) or a couple or group of friends. The centrepiece - the toboggan run - was the best, though the way up required some core strength. The mini golf course of a good length and was fun, though the course requires maintenance. Rides and activities were $10 each, and staff were friendly.

Hi, my daughter is only 7 months old, just wondering if there are any activities suitable for her?
Toboggan Hill Park
Nelson Bay, Australia5 contributions
We have plenty of activities that your daughter may participate in. She can double with you on a Toboggan - she rides free. You can take her on the Tractor Train which does a circuit of the Park and visits a Giant Maze along the way. We have a Mini Jumping Castle for under 3 years plus a number of arcade games and amusements that she may be interested in. We are pram friendly, with shaded picnic areas and baby change facilities.

There is a kids amusement park and they can go on toboggans with an adult but there is not much else there for them. There is also the tractor ride to the maze and the putt putt they could do. Hope that helps?

Hi, just wondering how much are the toboggan rides at Nelson Bay thanks, Wayne

Prices vary on age and the number of activities, best to get this info in detail from their website. There is also a $10 entry fee for non riders but this does give you a free activity ticket that anyone can use. There is lots of other this to do aside from the Toboggans....tractor ride and Maze, putt putt, water bombs, ice skating, rock climbing and more. My opinion is it is expensive especially if you have a couple of kids, but definitely worth the trip.
Are you gonna be opened on 26 and 27 december 2015
