Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must do when visiting Narooma, once in a lifetime viewing of wildlife of seals and sting rays up close and personal. We absolutely loved every minute of our walk at mill bay.
Absolutely recommend this gorgeous spot.

I enjoyed my walk from the main bridge then into the boardwalk to the surf beach. Loads of massive stingrays, a seal at our feet, beautiful emerald waters clear to see fish etc. loads of shade from the trees along the boardwalk.

We went for a late afternoon walk with friends. Was nice to walk along and watch fish in the water. My wife also did this walk another two times in the mornings and said there were heaps more fish to see then. She also saw a couple of small rays.

We stopped to stretch our legs and look at the beautiful scenery from Mill Bay Boardwalk.
We started at the launching ramp and walk around to the next bay.
It was an easy walk and we really enjoyed looking at the views across the river towards Narooma. We unfortunately didn’t see any critters in the river but we did see lots of Seals on the break wall later on.

An easy and pleasant walk around the Bay shoreline on a timber boardwalk with the chance to spot different marine life from fur seals to stingrays to large fish types! The local seabirds (Pelicans, Cormorants etc.) had a field day & enjoyed it as much as we did! On a nice day it makes for a restful spot & a bit of exercise to boot. Highly recommended.

Mill Bay Boardwalk is a must do when visiting Narooma. We saw some fabulous playful seals and heaps of Manta Rays whilst walking along the boardwalk.
At the end of the walk there is a fishing spot where the fishermen clean their fresh catches of the day. The local seals love hanging around the edge of the shore so it’s a wonderful spot to view them up close .

This is a truly lovely walk. The boardwalk is built over the water and follows the bank around from Mill Bay to the boat ramp and park near the northern breakwater at the entrance to the Wagonga Inlet at Narooma. It allows for a lovely closeup look at the marine life entering the inlet whilst under a canopy of trees on the foreshore. A number of platforms have been constructed jutting out from the boardwalk to allow those who would like to have a quiet fish the opportunity to do so. It is an easy level walk that is both wheelchair friendly and suited to the elderly, as well as being safe for children. Free parking is available at both ends of the boardwalk.

Spent an enjoyable two hours fishing and watching the world go by one morning. Lots to see, lots of friendly people passing and chatting. No fish caught. The views from here are impressive.

A really pretty spot, worth a stop if you're in the area. I didn't see any stingrays or seals though - maybe you need to wait for a high (or low?) tide to see them, or maybe you need to be more observant than me!

It’s a beautiful view along the walk and I was lucky enough to see a seal playing around in the waters, in my opinion the views on the other side of the inlet are better

Hi, thanks for your review. We will be visiting Narooma next week. Just wondering where you entry point is along Mill Bay Boardwalk for snorkelling. Hoping to snorkel there.

Go over the bridge going north out of Narooma and turn first right into Centenary Drive. The car park for the boardwalk is on the right. There is access to both beach and boardwalk from there but I don't know about snorkeling. You may have to ask a local for their knowledge on that one as I believe there are sting rays in the water from time to time. Hope that is of some help.
