Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a cleverly designed space to highlight the local art/craft scene. Unfortunately we visited mid week and a lot of the “containers” were closed. The florist though was open and was particularly good. If the bar and more places were open it would be a great spot to while away a few hours.

What a wonderful space. Visited with my 12yo daughter. It was a joy to see her moving around and interacting in a space where she just fitted.
The space itself housed some fantastic creators ans some wonderful artwork.
Will definitely be regulars.

On a recent holiday to Coolangatta, I decided to go to Murwillumbah for the day. M-Arts is a small place for artists in the area to showcase their work> The day I went, not all of the shops - many were renovated shipping containers - were open and they were setting up for perhaps an event.
I think being a weekday instead of a weekend makes a difference, but it was interesting to browse.

I thought M-Arts coffee was a find, at first... comfortable seating, good coffee, lovely staff. I started coming here every day it was open. But I've just about given up on it, mainly because of the music. The speaker is directly over the coffee bar, and the music is always on loud, and it is harsh, jangly electronic music. It's hard to have a conversation in that atmosphere. I've asked several times if it could be turned down, and I've messaged M-Arts, but no response. I was told 'the powers that be' want it that way'. Well, it might be OK for some people, but not for me and my friends.

Live poetry at Poets Out Loud third Thursdays of every month. We love the working artist studios, markets, and galleries. There's always something to see.

Tucked away in Proudfoot Lane, on the corner of Brisbane Street, the M-Arts Precinct is a gem. Painters, sculptors, fabric artists and jewellers are some of the creative people in this edgy, industrial-themed centre, There is a top class art supply store and framer and the nearby gallery, cafes and restaurants make a trip to this part of Murwillumbah a treat.

We live in Kingscliff, 25 minutes away and love coming to Murwillumbah for a delicious lunch at Baccaro, the art gallery and a wander of the shipping containers. Mill and Make is my absolute favourite shop. We also love a wander down the street to Each to Own and The Emporium. If your lucky enough to be there for the Markets on a Saturday, these were fun with kids- they loved the head band stall and the lady was lovely ✔️✔️. A trip to Husk in the way home is a perfect afternoon out, especially with visitors 😊🌸

I had a wonderful time discovering the studios in the M Arts precinct. it is a creative little hub with an excellent atmosphere. I loved the up-cycling of the shipping containers and I hope Murwillumbah grows as an Arts Centre, especially considering the beautiful Tweed Gallery is just up the road. Well worth a visit.
