Greeted at the entry and directed to cellar door. We did an exceptional tasting, where the wine maker served us. He was very forthcoming with explanations on the process of making each wine we tried. The other staff were very friendly and helpful. Then, they carried the cases of wine to our car……then we went to have lunch just outside the tasting marquee. The menu was excellent, along with the food and wine.
The entire experience was faultless.
The wine and food are definitely worth trying. All staff were fabulous.

We visited as a pre-booked group of about 8, mostly new Mums with attendant babies and a couple of Dads.
First thing first; there is nothing wrong with Artemis wines. It's a solid 6/10, bronze medal, workhorse kind of place. I have no real complaints, however Artemis has nothing to set it apart from the other dozen wineries in the immediate area.
The staff are pleasant enough but are exactly that & nothing more; pleasant.
The car park is not suited to anything lower-slung than a Camry. It is dirt/ gravel/ exposed rock and I would not like to drive up there, or be parked there, after a downfall.
Likewise for the footpaths. Be exceptionally cautious if you are in a wheelchair or have a pushchair. I do not recommend wearing heels or smooth-soled boots.
Lastly, the cheeseboards are worth it. The pizza is good, not great, and if you opt for any alcohol apart from the wine prepare for disappointment.
In brief: ideal for a quick lunch for locals who don't need to come far and drive 4x4s. An ordeal for tourists in hire cars who are expecting a real experience, unless you are visiting purely for the Artemis wines and do not care for your exhausts, your tail bones, or any 'beer-only' companions.

This winery is a bit commercialised, but the wine is worth it! From rich reds to crisp whites, each sip is full of flavour and satisfaction. Cheers!

We were all looking forward to the wine & gin tasting and were not disappointed! Lovely service & information without being too “over the top” beautiful rural setting, next visit we will plan to have lunch in the outside dining area. We all made purchases the gin is delicious! Needless to say we came away with bottle of both gin & wine.

I must say i was disappointed with the red wine, for the quality i think is way overpriced, however, i must say that the service by the manager was excellent, made us feel very welcomed and most of all she was very knowledgeable, very kind and nice.

On what was a chilly Saturday afternoon in The Southern Highlands we enjoyed a lovely tasting of Artemis wines. Our sommelier, Warren, was knowledgable and very gave us a great insight into 'cold climate' wines. The rosé wines and Pinot Noir were real stand outs! After out tasting we were seated in the bush garden and enjoyed 3 lovely, piping hot wood fired oven pizzas cooked onsite!!! Absolutely delicious!!!!

The wine, gin and food were all really quite good and we were greeted by very happy woofers on entry.
However, the rum was not fantastic and the service was lack lustre.
The staff seemed disinterested and the atmosphere felt quite unwelcoming.
There are cellar doors in the region with a much more personable feel and equally delicious wines.

Awesome staff, wine and food! Live music was a bonus.
Plenty of rugs on offer if you want to sit on the grass.
Kids had a blast running around.
If you could get some outdoor games for all ages would be amazing.

We found the food good and most staff courteous but the Manager (lady) would benefit from a course in manners and hospitality. A staff member got our booking wrong and we were treated as outcastes by the Manager.

My family and I visited over the weekend. To be brief, one of our party required a high seat due to a medical condition. Artemis made an easily correctable mistake. However, management's response to their mistake was to be rude, offer snide remarks, lie about the situation and offer zero solutions to their error. Long gone are the days where the customer comes first. My two favourite quotes were "I have to protect my staff" and "I can't control the sun."
In summary, we called ahead to ensure we were at a high table to accommodate the medical condition. We were told that everything was sorted. When we arrived, our table was swapped out for what appeared to be, off duty teenage staff and friends. After zero action from my multiple requests, I swapped back tables. The senior manager then entered the discussion, asked us to relocate and said she didn't appreciate our behaviour. After a brief discussion where I pointed out the true events with her staff, the manager finally realised her staff's mistakes, fumbled a response of "I have to protect my staff" and promptly tucked her tail between her legs and disappeared. We heard nothing more from any managers and assumed all was fine. We then had a lovely lunch with appropriate seating for the injured party.
Artemis' wait staff and food were great. But the junior and senior management need some clear education in customer service, manners and most importantly, managing customers with medical conditions or serious injuries.

The owners have 2 of their own dogs, a mother & daughter kelpies I think who love chasing sticks, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind a visitor, best to call & ask...
