The staff member who assisted me had good local knowledge and even contacted the business I wanted to visit to check road conditions and confirm it was open on the public holiday.

We were wanting to visit some of the waterfalls in the area so dropped into the Southern Highland Welcome Centre to pick up some information.
The centre has a lovely display of local wines and arts and crafts.
The lady helped me and I was soon on my way with maps and relevant information brochures.

Friendly and very helpful staff who explained the best places to see and supplied us with maps & marked the maps to show places of interest and how to fund these places.

Have had several visits to this tourist information centre when visiting the southern highlands. Again most impressed recently when seeking information on walks in the area. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Also provided great maps and directions. A very clean facility. Has a gift shop with items from local artisans and wineries. Spring flowers in full bloom are worth stopping to enjoy at this time of year. Plenty of parking and conveniently located beside main road into town.

Good sized carpark with lovely gardens. Sign on book and sanitizer just inside the door. Staff friendly and helpful. The shop is well laid out and spacious. Many souvenirs available from maps to local wine, cricket bats, teatowels and keyrings.

popped in here on a Saturday morning, they weren't very busy, but probably because we were first int he door. They were really helpful giving us maps of the area and places to visit.
