Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely walk not too strenuous some steps good viewing platform for photos well signed. And other pause spots for views of coastline. Whales to be seen if you're lucky in the right season

Beautiful short loop walk in the bush to view the Pinnacles which were glowing in the late afternoon light. Well designed viewing platforms and newly finished pathways.
Don't miss it!

Good walk and view for most abilities, although there are sections which are more challenging for those with mobility issues.

Access is on a well maintained unsealed road off Princes Highway, at Haycock Road, around 5km from Pambula. Most suitable for 2WD. Turn off to Pinnacles well signposted when within Ben Boyd National Park. Plenty of parking and basic toilet. Easy 1.2km loop track with 2 defined lookouts but views also from trail. Also suggest short walk to beach lookout. No fees.

This attraction is closer to Eden rather than Merimbula. It’s accesses by a very reasonable dirt road with signs to a parking area. The short walk to the Pinnacles is very easy and the view is very photogenic.
It’s worth the effort.

It’s only a very short drive from the highway to the parking area, and then a pleasant 10 minute level stroll to the viewing platform.
Well worth the detour.
Also suggest you walk a few hundred metres to the Pinnacles Beach lookout too.

This little circuit walk is well worth the drive! The money shot opens up near the end of the loop (travelling clockwise) with a stunning layered earth vista dipping into aqua-coloured water. Lots of big ant mounds for the kids to look at also.
The walk is mostly flat and suitable for all ages.
Highly recommended!

A must see if your visiting the area. Very accessible for all ages and when you get here it is amazing to think that it is apparently 65 million years old. That certainly intrigued me.

Interesting landform, pleasant walk around the circuit. For an easy walk without steps to see the formation, take the right hand (southern) track from the carpark to the viewing platform and return the same way. Th e circuit is a pleasant walk through coastal shrubland and heath with some steps up and down.
The access road to the site is horribly corrugated. We were discouraged from .to sites further down the road.
