Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a really nice time paddling on the lake on a still morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We followed up with coffees and a snack. Strongly recommended! YMMV

Pack a snack at the cafe and rent a boat. There are kayaks, pedal boats and motor boats on hire.
The motor boat takes about an hour to go around Merimbula lake

Turned up on a chaotic morning for the team with eftpos not available. They were quick on getting a boat ready and kids suited up with life jackets. Gave a great demo and told us of the hazards of the lake. Amazing experience for the kids and they were there to greet us to help get the boat back in safely. Will be back soon, thanks again.

One of the better places in Merimbula for a morning coffee....not as crowded as the main town area coffee establishments. Good outlook over the lake.

Have been here before and this place is always good. Great service views of the lake and if you ate up to it a walk along the board walk. The board walk is great for kids. Look out for the soldier crabs in their hundreds.

A peaceful morning walk along the Boardwalk, taking in all that sea air into you lungs, building your appetite as you walk, knowing what to expect when you arrive at The Kiosk. Very friendly staff, great service, open up the bifold windows and soak up the view of the lake, I had Eggs Benedict, cooked to perfection and a Latte, yum yum

When starting the boardwalk from the bridge, this represents the half way mark and time to stop for a coffee. Don't be surprised that you are not the only one who thought of that and so on sunny mornings it can get quite busy. Stopped ourselves for hot coffee and ice cream

Value for mone6 is a sure thing here. The evening Tapas menu is short and so tasty. The oysters are farmed 100 metres away. The wine list, compact, has realistic markups.
Only sad thing is that the Friday and Saturday evening Tapas closes for the chilly season in a few weeks. Robbie and Pete, you guys sure do have a magical formula.

This cafe marked the halfway point of our morning walk along the boardwalk. Relaxing spot to enjoy a fantastic view over the lake and pier. Seems a popular place for canoes /kayaks to access the lake. Even the fisheries boat decided to grab a themselves some morning tea while we were there. Friendly staff hot choc and coffee were pretty good as well. Lots of choices for a morning snack, cakes, brekkie or lunch. It appeared you could hire small boats, paddle boats and canoes here as well. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Can be a bit cool on a windy day bring along a jacket or sit inside many options. There is a public toilet and car parking available as well. Great place to visit.
