Really nice restaurant in superb location overlooking the wharf and ocean. The food is really very good and a great selection of fresh seafood.
Genuine family restaurant with friendly service.

Great for young family

Our family with a 1y old daughter went to the aquarium and restaurant. Relatively small aquarium, but absolutely fun. Great staff that helped make it fun for my daughter. She was able to tough sea star and play with sea shells.
The food was nice as well and good kids option. Only would like more outside seating where pet is allowed, but I understand this is not a priority.

Excellent (pretty close to it anyway!

Went here as a Gift (probably would have gone there anyway!)
We had a table near the window, and watched dolphins swimming whilst eating our meal! Can't do that in many places!
Had the seafood platter - a very large meal for 2, and apart from a slightly under cooked crab (mushy) the rest of it was excellent, cooked well and really tasty!
Apart from the one slight crab issue it was a great place to go...
Not cheap, but worth it for the view!

Disappointing aquarium

This little aquarium has so much potential. Unfortunately, it presents as old and tired, and under maintained. Identification labels on the various tanks were poorly maintained and in some instances inaccurate (e.g. fish identified as being in tank a were obviously not present but were in tank b instead, but not identified as being in tank b), and were difficult to read.
Expensive at $25/adult.

Delicious food (yummy chowder, seafood linguine and grilled fish kids meal), great service very welcoming and attentive, beautiful view (lucky to see a pod of dolphins) - we look forward to return and bring friends :-)

The family enjoyed the marina life. The collection is small, but you are in Merimbula and not Sydney. However, for what was on offer it was reasonably well priced. With the guided tour, it will take about 1 hour to 1 and a half hours.

Wonderful food!

It was great to stand on the wharf and look down into the swirling ocean and watch the fishermen pull in their catch. After that, we had a terrific lunch in the restaurant. The food and the service were great!

I have been fortunate to dine here twice in the past 2 weeks. Firstly a small group lunch enjoying the views over the ocean. Seafood cooked to perfection with subtle flavours that don’t overpower beautiful fresh produce.
Second time was for a group dinner where we ordered the absolutely amazing seafood platters brimming with fresh and cooked fare. Every selection was a delight and a challenge for 2 people to complete.
Service is exemplary and the setting calming although it is quite noisy in the cavernous main room. Not recommended for intimate dining.

Best place in merimbula

Absolutely spectacular in every sense. The most amazing customer service and the food was define! We had the seafood platter to share. It came with a great range of seafood including prawns, oysters, bugs, fish, scallops and more!! Very generous sizing! View over the warf just topped it off

Small collection of marine life

Compared to the visiting fee, visiting the aquarium is not worth the price. They have a small collection of marine creatures inside the aquarium. it will not take more than 10 to 15 minutes to have a look around the aquarium.
